A lot of the negative reviews I see for vet hospitals are from pet owners angry about being made to wait in their cars for (understandably) long times.
In light of the new surge in COVID cases, I’ve created a few friendly flyers acknowledging and offering an explanation for wait times, thanking pet owners for their patience and understanding, and offering to let them use the restroom.
Hopefully, these will help alleviate some client frustrations and make things just a little easier for vet staff.

We apologize for the wait, but please rest assured that when it’s your turn, we will do the same for your pet.

Why the long wait?
Due to a 70% increase in pet ownership and staffing shortages, you may be experiencing higher than normal wait times.
We are also seeing a higher number of emergencies as other hospitals are at full capacity.
Every pet is important to somebody, so critical patients are seen to before non-emergent cases.
Please know that if the situation were reversed, we’d do the same for your pet.
