About This Site
I am the lucky mum to an amazing Border Collie who got really sick at the age of 12 in the summer of 2018, and thanks to many veterinarians and vet techs, I recently celebrated his 15th birthday. I started this site in the hopes of helping to put a stop to the horrific trend of veterinary suicides.
Sharing truly is caring!
I don’t have an ad budget for promoting this project, and as Facebook only shows page posts to <5% of its followers unless you pay to boost them, I need to rely on people sharing to get the word out. If you ever see one of Vets Are People Too’s posts on Facebook, please do me a favor and give it a like and a share. The more “engagement” (shares, reactions, and comments) a post has, the more people Facebook will show it to.
